    Default TRX tyres wanted, Adelaide

I have a set of TRX wheels and tyres. If possible, I would like to fit better tyres to these wheels but realise that they are only going to be available secondhand.

Does anyone have any lying around that they would like to part with? The wheels are 390 mm

Damn THAT IS CHEAP!!!! For a CX GTi Turbo ??? There slightly wide, however the Avons were thought of quite well on the CX lists a few years back (when I could be bothered following them). These tyres could well be very old stock. Apparently they didn't wear as well as the michies though.

Given the price who cares! TRX's were well over $500 each last time I looked. And anyone who's driven a Fuego knows what an appallingly sh!tful tyre they are.

    Try a E28 BMW with 200HP - scary stuff!

My concern with TRX's is the age in which they have been sitting around for...

They are actually available new (not old new stock but new made) - cost a bit though. Try googling Antique Tyres in Melbourne.

    cheers! Peter

Ralph (Matt) has two really good TRXs, 180 by 390, also a couple more in RWC.
Have a look at his 505 clearance ad in parts for sale.

That's why when a set of 4 new ones (old, but unmounted, and most importantly uncracked) showed up in Long Beach for 130.00 (!??!), I didn't question the price, I simply bought them. The decision was made even easier when I had to be in Long Beach (about 100 miles away) on business anyway.

I also have a couple of 390x220 TRXs, but shipping would likely kill any savings.
