    Default WTD R12 seat cover

Looking for the vinyl cover for the seat base of a '72 R12 - in tan (see Pic). Driver or passenger seat, doesn't matter. Will take the whole cover or just the base, or the whole seat if that's what it takes.

Gotta keep the daughter happy, who grizzled that the otherwise perfect 40-year old car with 33k miles on it had a wee tear in the seat. Hard to please some folk . . . I'm easy to please though; a seat cover will do it.

    Cheers, Geoff

Ok then, maybe we'll look at other R12 sear styles if you've got them to go.

    Anything in Tan?

Tell your daughter to grow a set!

Clean the seats with thinners or metho. Get your roll of gaffa tape and use a couple of strips to pull the seat together and then tape along the seams. Slip on a decent seat cover - the seat will be firm and almost better than new.

    P

PS If you can find some of the vinyl covers in tan please see if you can get another couple...

Gawd, how brave do you think I am - she takes after her mother!! Sheesh!

Thanks for repairs suggestion, it supports my fallback plan of gluing a sheet of vinyl underneath the tears.

    Default R12 seat

G/DAY GEOFF, i had a look at the r12 seats today they are in worse condition than yours, But i do have a pair of r16 front seats that are a bit better not perfect though if anyone can tell us if they are the same you are welcome to them for the cost of the freight.
    Cheers Peter.

I'll have to find out whether they fit. Freight from Gods Country for a couple of seats could be quite a few dollars too.
