    Wanted: Renault 4 (12V) Speedometer

Dad is chasing a speedo for his late model Renault 4. He has all the storks & most of the wiring but is missing the speedo.
    His R4 has a 4 speed box & a 12 volt system which makes it a bit rare (R4's are anyway )

Since they didn't stop building the little buggers until 1994 or so and given that they are still just everywhere in France/Spain you'd probably get the part new from iberparts or a similar company if you're prepared to part company with the spondulas

I think he is OK with a secondhand jobby at this stage. There is still a lot to do before he really actually needs it.
Just registering interest incase someone has one in their back shed.
They surely are everywhere over there

There could be one around Brisbane somewhere - ain't that useful?
I sold my '73 R4 to Dick White in 1986 (think he only really wanted the 4 speed box). I was speaking to someone at a Tri-club do about two years ago who had an early R4 there, and he'd said he'd bought Dick's cars as parts and that my old car was virtually rusted out. Don't know the name, but someone in the Queensland Renault club might.
