Wanted - Peugeot 505GR exhaust manifold

if anyone has for sale a "big bore" exhaust manifold & engine pipe for a Peugeot 505 GR, please contact me.
i believe these were fitted to GRs between 1980 & 1983 (2L carby) models.

    thanks

    Hey Con!!

Couldn't help but notice; did you get the phone number by accident or design
I mean, a Pug owner with the numbers "406" and "505" in his phone number If you got 'em by accident - I reckon you 'n me should go halves in Lotto I could never be that lucky.

If it ain't broke, use a 12" shifter.....that usually does the trick!!

I have a 1982 motor for sale (only $150 the lot) I believe it may have the manifold you are after.

At this stage - I am not too keen to separate them as the whole engine runs so nicely - and without the manifold it would be hard to demo to anyone.

    regards

I would be able to trailer that to Sydney if you want to go ahead with the deal, con, I'm taking the trailer down via Peter's to Harden in about ten days.

You'd have to be sure it was the right manifold, by the way, and I think Dave McBean may be interested in the rest of the motor if you're not.

    Con,
Unlikely for an 82 model to have the big manifold. If it has "Pulsair" valves it is not the correct one

Sorry, con, I feel sure that when I looked at the car the other week it was the manifold with the sandwich full of anti-pollution garbage... I guess this is what Graham is talking about.

But I guess Peter will confirm or deny this...

In the meantime, I think I know where there's another one in a wrecker's... want me to look? Manifold only, I mean. Or maybe you want mine?

    ray,

would appreciate it if you could check if there is one at the wreckers; (but i also need the engine pipe, as well, please); if yours is for sale, i'm also interested.

e-mail me privately if you wish ([email protected])

    thanks

Found one at the Reedy Ck wreckers on the Gold coast, they want $65 for the manifold and front of the pipe... I think it's dear, what do you reckon?

The other wreckers have only the smallbore ones... but I'll keep looking.

davemcbean... do these fit 504s? I'm sure pugrambo told me there was an appreciable improvement in Kugelfischer performance with them...
