    This is hardly surprising.

There is very little interest in 404s, just look at the number of post's on AF about 404s.

There are about six members who intermittently show interest. Mike Tippet being the notable exception.

    Depressing really.

Looks like a good one too.

Interesting collection being sold off there - wonder who it is...?

i thought the 404 was the legend car - redex rallies etc.

i'd have one any day if i had somewhere to keep it under cover and work on it...

Sorry - touched a raw nerve there Robmac?

I have plenty of interestin 404's just no space for another one.

I would put the lack of posts down to the fact that they are relatively trouble free & just fantastic fun to drive.

No, not really a raw nerve, just a disappointed (that other don't share the fervor) of the 404 .

    I didn't mean to take a swipe...

most know how much i like(dislike) the 404 but to be honest they probably fair as many posts as the 604 in these parts

in fact i'd near say the 404 has a much more loyal following than the 604

don't despair Rob, there are fans out there but like CX owners they tend to hide (do you blame them )

I have a soft spot for these cars.
If one of you chaps would buy it, I'll generously donate my lock up garage to house it.

all this emotion spilling out for the humble 404 -

to be fair i would say i would say most of the 404 owners i have met are not really all that blog / email savvy - there area few but generally they dwell in the printed world
