    505/504 Rear Calipers

Just wondering if anyone in the Brisbane area has some rear calipers/pistons 504 or 505. Despite my best efforts, it would seem that mine are too old and too marked.

    Anyone?

I think Ray might be your best bet, considering he lives up that way (some of the time).

505 ones, yes... I'm actually short of 504 ones myself, I simply can't find the left hand one I need.

Maybe I should have telephonic contact with you over this? I think I have your number somewhere...

Do 505 calipers fit 504s, Dave? I know they're different, but can they be fitted anyway?

i think they can but the thinbg you have to be aware of is the difference in the change over fron 74-75 when they went to metric fittings and double flare lines
all earlies are single flare lines

i'm sure there is one in the backyard here ray
actually you have a choice between an early 504 one and a 505 one (the one that was part of the radiator)
