    Racing Seats Wanted

Does anybody have stashed away in their garage a pair of decent racing seats and/or harnesses I could fit to a two door Renault 17?
    Plan B is Fuego seats.

Are these needed for a road car or club racing car? If the latter i have a mould that i've made for a seat to fit my bum. High back, wrap around sides, trimming & padding would be up to you.
    If interested email me cheers!

    Hi Guys,
I sort of need the seats for a bit of rallying but as a general everday all purpose seat. So thanks for the offer of the mould but I'm probably looking for something already done. Maybe I can get some seats from a JAP wrecker from a Skyline or something similar?

Vivid. Thanks for the offer of the Fuego seats. What sort of condition are they and how much folding are you after? Are they early or late Fuego seats??
    Thanks again.

If you can find a 2nd hand harness in good condition, snap it up. All new harnesses only have a 5 year life under new CAMS rules. I know it's a strange rule, but it means a 40 yr. old harness is OK, but new harnesses must be replaced every 5 yrs. Look for an expiry date on belts with FIA 8853, FIA8854 and SFI16.1 markings. You won't get through scrutineering with an expired belt.

Not quite correct, new harnesses with the European markings, ie. Those made in Italy with the letter E as a prefix has no limits. Brands like Sabelt an example.
