    Wanted Renault 16 brake discs

    I need discs for RWC and am told the minimum roadworthy thickness is 11.0mm. Mine are both 10.5mm, anyone got some second hand sitting around??

    If nuthing pops up second hand wise, you should be able to buy them new through DBA or PBR.

    The catch is naturally, that they are dearer then 2nd hand.

    I managed to pick some up for $55 each brand spanking from Caravelle...(I think that was trade price though)

    nice price, my 16 should be in good hands.. not reg yet tho, got a few things to do on it.
    Aussie frog rates?

    you also doing a roadworthy on a 16 Ed?

    Cost a lot more than that to have the hub dismantled and the disc replaced,even at $55, by the time there fitted it still works out deer.
    We sell the whole disc and stub axle complete assembly second hand but in RWC condition for $40.00 inc GST. Can't get better than that.

    Ahhh coulda woulda shoulda, I didn't have too much time to call around (nor get my car to Airport west). At least I know for next time.

    Anyway, yes I will be getting my car RWC'd soon Vivid..
