    Default 306 s16 coolant hose

    Hey all,
I recently got a split in my coolant hose on my s16. Its the one that sits at the top of the firewall for the heater core which connects onto the side of the head. If anyone has one laying around willing to sell to me please email me at: gtsrule133@internode.on.net

I fixed this a little while ago after finding out you had to buy the whole bit which goes from the head to the firewall as well as the plastic bit that comes out the firewall. I just cut the part of the hose which was broken, matched it up at bursons and fitted it with some hose clamps and a joiner. Problem fixed easily and cheaply, like $20 cheaply

I've done similar jobs on my Mi16 using hose from a reel by the metre.

To get some of those hoses new are crazy expensive.

Or maybe the hose your looking for comes in this kit:

It's not so much the pipe, it's the plastic fitting that connects to the heater matrix... I don't really have the time, but it would be better being made out of brass...
