Oh really? They got big wraps from EVO in a tyre test last year. I would've thought they would be better than the standard Michelin Pilot SXs. Care to elaborate any further?

What would be the diference in my speedo if I put these tires on my Mi16. I need 195/55/15, but the these tires are 50s.

Your speedo would be 3.3% too fast

When your speedo says 100kph, you're travelling 96.7kph

I don't think it'd be THAT noticeable, if at all.

    Hey,

Where do I find this calculator? Also, anyone know the actual speed @ 100km on the speedo a Gti6 is doing?

Almost every car is out by a couple km/h from factory anyway.

I too had Eagle F1's on my car and found that the adheshion limit plummeted. The only good thing about them was they were quite progressive in the way they lost grip....pity they lost it so soon is all.

I have been told that there are two different compounds/construction techniques for the same looking tyre. The good one is made in Germany, the s#@t one in Thailand from memory....might pay you to check the side wall and see if you have the good ones...

P.S.. I have been told the "real" f1's cost around $300+ per wheel....the shit ones about half that.....

there are GS-D2s (the most common one that is OEM on the 206 GTI) and the GS-D3s which were released about a year ago and only available in the limited sizes listed above.

Here's a pic of the two:

Yep muxed pugs seem to be all calbrated to be 3kph out at every speed point (lower that is and not higher) .. as the speed comes off the ABS sensors.
