    Default Wanted: 504 parts

    Hi everyone,

I'm restoring a 504 at the moment, and am short of some parts. The main bits that I need at this stage are a few panels or parts thereof in good nick.

    I need:
    - Driver's side sill panel
    - Lower rear quarter panel sections, including a bit of the mudguards, both sides
    - A-pillar lower section at the bottom of the windscreen, both sides

Looking for straight, rust free pieces.

Other parts I'm looking for are:
    - Very early model door trims in good condition. The early 504s had 2 piece door trims, ie the black bit around the top was seperate to the seat-coloured insert in the centre. I am just after the top (black) bits, for all four doors, in uncracked condition.
    - Armrests from any year, matching set of 4, in excellent condition
    - Dashboard top in uncracked condition. Have a lead, not picked up yet
    - Rear bumper bar without the rubber centre strip, with no dents or rust.
    - Chrome rear view mirrors in good condition, both sides.
    - Early model front indicator lenses (with the parkers on the outside, indicators in the centre) in excellent condition. Found some in the garage!
    - Original clock to suit 504 Ti/LTi (on the passenger's end of the dashboard), preferably working but not essential. Found, on it's way
    - Windscreen seals, front and rear, either in excellent condition or a lead on where I can buy new ones.
    - Door seals in excellent condition (not a high priority, I can still get them from Scott's Old Auto Rubber)
    - Backlit heater and ventilation control panel Found, on it's way
    - Late model windscreen wiper/washer switch with intermittent position, preferably with the plug and a bit of wiring. The delay unit, plug and wiring would be awesome as well!
    - Chrome windscreen washer jets in good condition
    - Late model interior rear view mirrow
    - Sunvisors, prefer late model, good condition. Need the ones that are black on one side, light colour on the other (not brown or blue). Black on both sides would also be acceptable. Found, on their way
    - Gearstick boot, bottom one (closest to the outside of the car, fits over the hole in the transmission tunnel cover) to suit early 504
    - Gearstick boot, top one (the one you can see, with the concertina rubber) to suit late model 504.
    - Chrome surround from front windscreen trim, passenger's side TOP quarter section
    - Roof lining in perfect condition, including rear C-pillar sections and front A-pillar sections
    - Chrome strip that runs full length of the doors visible underneath the doors, driver's side

If you have anything that might be useful, or a scrap 504 stashed down the back for parts, I'd love to hear what you've got there!

Thanks Bob, yes I'll update it now. I have to admit that I cheated, I just copied and pasted from my other thread.

Did you end up getting those other 504s?

    Thanks as always!

Hey Bob, if you're sending up a parcel from tas, I might be able to add to it. Let me know what you didn't have and I may have it. 2 cars left here. daniel

Dan...basically what Scott has said he has in RED will come from here except the dash.
Anything else I am sure Scott will be thrilled.
However it maybe harder to get the stuff to me than to post it direct youself unless you are heading south. Bob
