Default Wanted: 1983 504 wagon lower control arms

As the heading says. These arms would be found on the very last 504 wagons sold in Australia, and would have the later, 505-type ball joint.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

The length is the same, it's the ball joint type that is the difference. I need to reduce the track on the front of my 504 due to a set of 16 inch, wider offset wheels I have to fit.

If your arms are off a 504 wagon, and they have the later balljoint type, they are exactly what I need. Please let me know.

    Thanks,
    John

    G'day John,
I haven't forgotten your request but I have been extremely overloaded lately.
I have exams these days but I can promise you I will ask about your stuff next week God willing.
If you can post pictures of those parts removed from a car (from a 504 or 505 I don't care) but just to show them to my parts dealer and tell him I want like those but for MY car (he knows my 504 is "different") but I don't know their names in arabic so the pics would help a lot.
I shall then ask FedEx how much shipping the would cost but I think I have to know the weight first, then get back to you to see if the whole thing is OK by you

Chadi, I want lower controls exactly the same as you have on your 504. If they look like that and they come off a 504, that's what I need. If you can find 2 or 3 pairs I'll take them.

    Thanks!

Can also be found on pickups as well so you may have luck on one of the european ebays as the pickups were sold until a lot later, possibly even in the ninties.

    No prob.
What I was saying if you could take a picture of a set of control arms you have (in your shed maybe) it would make things a lot easier as I don't know what LCA means in Arabic .

I don't have any pics of the control arms I need. Chadi, if you could just print off the pictures you posted in this thread you could show those to your parts supplier. The two picture are perfect: one shows clearly the position of the arms on the car, and the other shows a close-up of the important detail, which is the end of the arm which connects to the strut.

    What do you think?

He wants the part number 2 as shown in the second photo posted by Chadi.
John I think Chadi wanted you to identify which part it was in the photos he posted, hence the numbers and arrows.

Maybe you're right Chris, in that case I'm sorry Chadi. But that photo was posted a while back and we explained to Chadi the names of all the components so I thought he knew what they all are now.
