    Default 403 rear blinker bases

I am looking for four (for two projects) rear 403 blinker bases. I need two for a sedan I am restoring and two for a wagon.

These are the round metal bases that the amber lenses screws onto. Anyone have any? Regards Graham

What's the matter boys and girls? Alot have looked at my request, but where are these blinker bases. Surely not all of them have gone to god.

Take a look out the back and see what you have.

    Please. Graham

    Pete,
I am after the bit that the globe goes in. It bolts/screws straight on to the car then the amber plastic lense attaches to that. They are about two inches round and protrude out about a bit over an inch fromthe body work of the car. Regards Graham

I don't think I have any but is it the round one that mounts on the body that kinda points out in the centre?

    Thanks

    Graham,
It sounds like the lights you have are non original. Up until about 1960 403 had no rear blinker, but used a flashing tail light. 403B blinkers are about 70mm diameter with a protruding lens and the lamp base sits on a base, not directly onto the car. All the lamp bases I have seen have been black plastic and I can't find any in the shed.

    Pete,

Those green bases are exactly what I want. How many do you have?

    I'll kill for them.

Graham, I have 4. 2 fibreglass ones and the green pair which are steel and someone has fibre glassed them to stop the rust. I will take some closer pictures tomorrow. I should have another steel pair somewhere!! I made new ones for my car and the wagon.
    cheers Pete

If you can get me four. Don't care if they are metal or figreglass, or even if they need a little repair.

Please PM me with cost and your blank details and I will give you my address for posting.

    I am extrememly gratefull.
    regards Graham
