    Default 205 motor wanted

    Hi guys,

I had a ctastrophic engine failure on the weekend at wakefield in the race car when the oil cooler sandwich plate decided to seperate from the engine block.

As I want to run the 300 in 4 weeks time, does anybody have a motor lying around that is goodish nick. My motorsport budget is low at the moment so looking for a quick turnaround to run the enduro.

    Any help is apreciated.

hmmm a stock mi16 would be nice to run.

    Graham,

8v will be prefered as it will be a straight fit, 16v an option but more work would be needed to setup but not impossible.

I just need a motor that will sustain 3 hours at 6500rpm. :-)

This one runs very well, out of a late S1 405.
The owner wants to get rid of a heap of 205 stuff, this engine included.
