    Hi,

    I am after a tow bar for my 405 (Mi16, Series 2).

    Thanks for the offer Ben,

Do you have any ideas about how much it will cost to get it to NSW??

    Thanks, Simon

    Hi,

    I'd say around $35-40...at a guess!

    Cheers

Hi fellas - I need a towbar for my Series 2 405 (are they different for the series 1?) also!
    Any leads welcome.
PS Is it true that the wiring for the plug outlet is complicated=expensive?

The factory towbars between series 1 and 2 are different as the muffler is much larger on the series 2. That said quite possibly aftermarket towbars may have been made to suit both. The wiring is probably the easiest one I have done,as the wires are easily accessible behind the tail lights to be teed off.

    Thanks again Ben,

I am thinking I will order a new one from Haymen Reese, so that they can worry about the freight issues.

Just wondering though if you know how difficult they are to fit (ie can I do it myself without destroying my car too much).

    Thanks, Simon
