    G'day Paul,

I just bought a 306 Cabrio on Tuesday - and like you I am looking for a hard top. Since this post is form 2001, I assume you either found one or gave up.

i think these only sold in europe and on VERY late cabrio's... your best bet would be ebay UK... it won't cost that much to import as its only fiber glass... you may also try ringing a friendly peugeot dealer to see if they'll import one for a ludicrous price

    wow.....!!!

I sold one about 3 months ago... china blue... Problem is.. you have to buy the fixing kit,,,,, which had to come from France ... $1100....and 16 weeks!!! I sure you will find one in the UK. Because they are a pain in the ARSE to use... as you cannot just remove the hardtop and continue to use the power roof.. because of the amount of hardware required to attach the bloody thing... the kit also included about 40 shim's so you can spend the day attempting to seal the windows... after all this if you still want one let me know because i'm sure he want's to sell it now...

    all the best lee..

What do you mean you can not remove the hardtop and continue to use the power roof???

All in all, how long would it take to put on the hardtop? Take off? A couple of hours?

Am I likely to screw things up (like the seals on the windows)?

The mounting kit prevents the use of the power roof once installed...so you can't just lift off the hard top and decide to use the vehicle in cab format for the day un like other roadster top's.. eg.. bmw.. well done PSA..

p.s car look's crap with it on anyway

    leeeeeee.

I removed the hardtop from a 2004 330i BMW convertible today.
It looked great on, and took no more than one minute to take off. That's BMW, but it was also $8000 or so, so you'd want it to be clever for that money.

So in conclusion, the Peugeot hardtops are crap??? There was no answer on how long it took to get on or off.

I'm still interested I guess. Canberran winters get pretty darn cold.
