    Default BX19 TZI...Head possibly wanted

Forever the optimist...I may have a cracked Head....and even if it is it may be able to be welded but in case it's the worst outcome does anyone have a GC head to suit a 1993 BX19 TZI ????
    Cheers

    Hi Dogboy,

You could use an early bx head if you can't find a tzi one. Tri 122's and Tzi's have the same head. Bx tri's have larger combustion chambers so you need to give them a good shave before fitting or you will lose compression but as long as you give it a shave it will be fine. So basically you can use a head off any aussie pug 205 or bx.

Any idea why the head gasket went... It's almost unheard of with the 1.9petrol motors ??
