    Icon2 WTD Pug 306 GTi6 Passanger Airbag

Does anyone out there in the land of Peugeots have an un-deployed passanger side airbag for a 1998 306 GTi6?

Mine has delaminated in the hot Aussie sun. Poor French car isnt designed for this hot climate!

P.S If any one needs to know how to remove the in dash airbag, drop me a line and i'll tell you how. Its a pretty easy straight foward job.

Anyone, anywhere, im getting very desparate here. might have to fork out for a new one . ASV Wreckers are charging $550 so you can imagine how much a new one is!

I might have one available as I am building a race car and won't need it. I will however need something to fill the hole so if you can get a top glovebox out of a non-passenger side airbag model (in black) plus a bit of cash it could solve all our worries!

Sounds like a plan! How bout I source a top glovegox from Sydney and get it freighted directly to you? You could send me the air bag and I'll direct credit your account with some $$$ (which we can discuss once I find out how much the top glove box will cost).

I'll post a "how to remove dash air bag" in the technical section as there is no info available on how to do this. (I took out my entire dash to find I only had to undo ONE 10mm bolt!)

    Cheers

    Alex.

Sounds good. Just PM me when you have found a glovebox. In the meantime I will take a photo of the airbag so you know its condition!

I have been thinking about the fitment of the glovebox to replace the airbag, I dont think it will work seen as the airbag hase a cage that it sort of slots into. And your dash will look far nicer with the airbag not the glovebox! (Id unplug the SRS module before you did any racing tho!)

I also have found and purchased an airbag from BMSpares for half the price of the nonexistant airbag from ASV wreckers!

    Thanks anyway for the offer!
