I have a square port 504 engine from a 1983 model here which you can have with all the accessories for $400. I can even deliver it to you in a few weeks.

It's in excellent condition, it came out of my 504 wagon purely because I upgraded to a diesel engine. Starts first go every time, nice and quiet, plenty of power, easy on the juice and doesn't blow any smoke.

    Default 504 engine

I've got one from a wagon as well that needs a rebuild that you can have for free. It is complete and ran well but is tired. I would possibly be able to bring it to Melbourne fairly soon for a few bucks, otherwise if you can think of a way to get it up to you, come get it! Same goes for anyone else that wants a rebuilder. Otherwise I'd say you couldn't go wrong with Scott's motor. Good luck!
Before you judge someone, walk a mile in their shoes. Then when you judge them, you're a mile away and you've got thier shoes!
