I urgently need a locking fuel cap for a 205gti.

Prefer red but any colour will do. Can anyone help?

    Nice one

Is the fuel cap peculiar to the car 205gti, or would a generic 'lockable' cap fit? Not that I have one but would make it easier to find??

Is your GS still for-sale.... you could still tempt me

    Cheers

Sadly the GS had to go

But I've got 3 more GS's in various states of (dis)repair

The 204 is still there - coincidentally another mad Citroen head is quietly interested in it - weird!

I may have to look at that. Apparently they're a fast moving item - people leave them on the car roof when filling up, so they're in short supply it seems.

Mine's just lost the inner barrel for the key (#1 son ran over it )

I'm using a red one as a replacement at the moment so if you find a charcoal one we could swap?

if your machanic has one on back order,it will be a valeo one which is what i replaced on mine for the oe.
these caps cost in 2002-wait for it-$245
my 205 came with one of these .
apparently his girlfreind lost the oe cap.
how you can loose a lockable petrol cap is beyond me but we see happen all the time.
are these people in la la land or what.

the valeo's dont have the plastic trim but work fine and have a sturdy lock.
wreckers sell these items[oe] for anything from $45-$180 .
yep thats right $180 for a second hand petrol cap.
so if you get stuck pm me,i wasnt really in the market to sell mine as im into keeping spares for my chariot but if your stuck ill think about it.-BAZZ
