    Default GTi180 Wheels

Hi all, I am looking at selling my wheels.

I am looking at 450$ for the perfect wheels (these are on the back so have more tread) and 400$ for the slightly scratched wheels (have less tread but still decent amounts and are legal)

I am factoring in that these wheels are $600.00 new without tyres. So lets say
    Tyres:
I want 100$ for the tyres..
    P7000 Tyres $300 New
That is a 66.6% depreciation which i feel is fair, there is at least 10000km left in these tyres no worries.

    Alloys:
I want $300-$350 for the wheels
    Alloys are $600 new
I am offering between 50% and 40% off the rrp.

I will sell individually... for 450 or 400 depending on wheel
I will sell as a whole ($1600.00) which is a saving of 100$

These wheels are perfect as spares, or even to replace a damaged wheel.

Will they fit on a 406? I am not sure...

However I will sell them with the rubber (that is my preference)... and the amount will be $1600 for all four.

It's an interesting issue. Get the proper spacers and everything is fine...

I'm pretty sure people (like Pugjet and Wrcpug) are using them. Handling shouldn't be compromised either.

They should also fit onto 205s and 306s with the 10mm rear spacers. 405s should be a straight fit. (i say should - i'm not 100% sure)

Sorry, but I don't believe that this is too expensive. After calling two Peugeot dealers I was told that they are $600.00 new... This is without tyres. I am not willing to reduce the price.

that is the correct price from a dealer yes, but lets not forget they probably sell genuine tail light globes for $50, doesnt mean they are worth $50

i would even go so far to say that in such a niche market you would even struggle to find a genuine buyer at $1000

that said, i am interested - just not at that price

reckon they would look any good on an Mi16? im nearly in need of new tyres, so new rims seems appropriate too!

Yeah, but at the same time cars are never worth their RRP yet they're selling at their RRP and everyone is buying them at RRP.

I think that's a very good price given the condition with tyres.

It's 17" rims we're talking about from Peugeot, not some CSA 16" alloy you get from bob jane.

I'd get them if i have the cash for that price.

What is worth the value someone sells an item for? Is my 180 worth 34000$ New? Probably not, but that is what I paid for it.

If you can find four genuine 180 wheels with rubber for $1000 then go for it. These items don't come up that frequently, in fact I believe this is the first time that these wheels have been offered.

Good luck.. But seriously don't bother arguing about it. My price is 1600$.

I am in no hurry... I dont need to sell these wheels.

For those of you who want some genuine 17inch Peugeot wheels, you have two choices.. $600~ From the dealer... or $400 from me.

    Take it or leave it.

Definatley do something with your rims... (keep the stockies for shredding!)

Nimrods are kool, (they look amazing on a red car - see if you can find pics of cals car) and i reckon clints rims would look hot too... The fitment should be perfect too.

Although, has rory sold his multispokes yet? They are my fav rims on 405s...

I have heard of negotiation. And I understand the process. And I thank you for taking the time to respond.

However, the amount is not negotiable.

The wheels are being offered at a price that I feel is very low. I do not need to sell the wheels and I am in no hurry.

I hope you find what you are looking for.
