    Default WTD mi16 thermostat housing

    Hi all,

I managed to break my thermostat housing when replacing the thermostat (see here: http://www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/sho...d=1#post292847)

    Anybody with a spare thermostat housing to suit a 1992 (1.9) 405 mi16??

    enthused,

Beware! There are 2 types of plastic thermo housings for the Mi.

The early type used 2 'O' ring seals, the later used a seal thay fitted around the thermostat.

    aha, thanks Jeff.

Mine has a rubber seal around the thermostat, which luckily, I removed from the old thermostat and put on the new one...

do either of you have the correct part?

    thanks,
