Default Parts a plenty from the hexagone...

Hi everyone, I will be back to France for a month in June (WorldCup obliges of course...) I am already sourcing plenty of goodies for 205 gtis. If I am to fill up a container, I may as well make it worth while so if some of you have trouble sourcing THE part or thingi they desperately need, maybe I could group your orders and see what can be done, my bro in law works for Peugeot in Paris, and it should be possible for me to check out a few wreckers as well while I am roaming the roads there and seafreight it all to us here... Anyway, anyone interested let's discuss over the next weeks here...

In the mean time Merry Xmas and HNY to all.

A pair of heads, valve gear, rocker covers, intake manifold and camshafts for a 24 valve PRV V6, as found on the early Citroen XM 24 Valve and early Peugeot 605 SV24 (pre 1992ish) - just look for the 90 degree engine. A complete engine would also suffice.

just to be lairy- a t16 style rear roof spoiler or any body kit parts like side skirts ,rear and front valance in dimma wide body stylee.
i understand these parts are hard to transport due to fragility but if packed correctly they should be ok.
series 3 speedline 15" alloys will always sell at the right price.
any rally parts like sump guards, urated engine mounts, mintex brake pads, performance engine parts the like will also sell.
euro specs mi 16 pistons and liners are good for uprating the 8 v motor[new oe kit euro spec]
pm me if you find any of the above with the price please and we ay be able to do it.

What do you plan on getting for your car? I don't think i can be bothered organising all the little things i need, (it's easier just to pay postage) but if you are getting something specific and could just pick up extras...

    Hey Al,
How's that rebuild coming along? Was just reading your thread from back in August.

Is it insanely hard? I'm hoping to get one here rebuilt.

That rebuild was stopped in its tracks when the head came off... (and revealed a mess)

All i can recommend is removing the engine before doing anything to it. Everything is easier this way...

And make sure while the gearbox is off you replace EVERY consumable item within. My box has come off three times recently due to a dodgy fork and now a leaking main seal. (the car is looking very sorry for itself again with the box and subframe out)

It wasn't so bad as i got a solid engine to replace that one. The thing goes really hard now, and hopefully with its new clutch and seals it will be even better. As a student this was always going to be a long term thing, (the only way i could afford it) and i am pretty happy with the almost completed result.

If you want to rebuild one though, get a spare engine and sort that, then drop swap them over. This way their is minimal downtime, and you can do it slowly if cash is an issue...

And to the starter of this thread, i would be interested in some 1.9 hubs and driveshafts. As there are a few of us after this it would be more possible?

    Default new market...

ok ok guys I thought there would be some demand... now I am thinking of creating a one way import system for us where I will organise the research and freighting of what you need over there and sent to us here directly. by boat it will be longer but much cheaper especially if it is big or/and heavy...

I was mostly concerned with parts for the 205 GTI serie 3 at first but who knows, once I get the wreckers addresses I may ass well start some regular ordering, I will see about that when I am over there.

In turn you will need to pay me a deposit of course and once they arrive you either pick up or I will send via courrier.

    let me know.
