    Default 81 Diesel 505 Wrecking.

My 81 505 Diesel has ended it's life!!!!!

My wife has given me limited time to remove it. I had considered selling the whole car (needs another diesel engine), but have taken some parts off it. The car was a non turbo 2.3 diesel (XD2)

    It's the same model as I had... that's a BA7 if it's a manual.

Yes it is a manual and it is a BA7 - 4. 4 speed manual. Same gearbox as the 504's I think.

Gearbox is still ok, but the linkages were a little worn - sloppy gearchange and sometimes it hang up the lever on the 3- 4 change. The gearbox itself, is quite serviceable - oil changed regularly and the car had completed 27500 km of country driving.

If you need any more details let me know!!!

    Cheers
