    Are you referring to a strut brace?? A custom bar that 'bolts' the shock-absorber mounts together and strengthens the car...kind of like an extra stabilizer bar at the top of the suspension.

    wheel brace is also know as a tyre iron

    its the tool you use to take your wheel off (at least it is in my neck of the woods)

    Yep I thought that too...but couldn't see how a certain wheel brace could be worth seconds at a track?

    Tha explains it then. May-be he needs a single wheel nut conversion, .....only one to do then.

    i thought it was obvious.

    the wheel brace had a hi-flow and a tuning chip off ebay fitted to it!

    Well it could be worse, a guy in my old car club forgot to put the petrol cap back and not also did he spill fuel every were, but he ran the car dry on the track and held the session up by over 1/2 hour. - Chris
