Default WTD - Peugeot 405 Front Steering Rack Gaiter Boot Dust Cover

    Hello all,
I am trying to track down a "Front Steering Rack Gaiter Boot Dust Cover" for my Peugeot 405 SRDT. It's just had its LHS rack boot replaced and this part didn't survive the process. Any info on average prices would also be helpful.
    Thanks
    Part number: 406621

EAI might be able to supply it or buy from Lithuania per that eBay link. They are good to deal with. Be aware there is also 406638, which looks the same, but is for the larger diameter tie-rods used on later XM/605. If you end up with that part for some reason, you may find it's a loose fit on the tie rod, but you can add a rubber packing ring cut from hose as a workaround.

Shall do. It was for a roadworthy, which is going ahead anyway. Thanks

EAI doesn't stock them anymore. But I appreciate the info on the Lithuanian eBay sellers.
