Icon4 DS, CX and maybe BX bits and tools for sale - south of Sydney

    Hi all,

Since the departure of UFO (the car - not me!) I have surplus pieces that I need to move on. There is too much to photograph and upload, so I will list by description. (updating list as items go)

I would prefer that you come to collect in lovely Gerringong (10 km south of Kiama, 130km south of the centre of Sydney on the beautiful south coast of NSW). I could be coerced into assisting with freight arrangements for serious buyers that are too far away - at your cost. I DO go to Sydney occasionally - either to West Ryde (1st Monday evening each month) or Campsie (2nd Thursday daytime of the month) so I could arrange a meet and trade at either.

So, here's the list and it may be added too. I've suggested some prices whilst others you can make an offer:

    • 4 x 15" five stud wheels. Removed when I fitted refurbished wheels. Some surface rust, otherwise fine, $25 each (2 gone - Schenk 20/1)
    • 6 x D Special full size hubcaps. A couple with damage, others need polishing. Damaged $25 each, polishing required $50 each (2 gone - Schenk 20/1 Three damaged goneCXInterest) ONE damaged remaining
    • Set D Special original split spheres (LHM). Were fine when swapped off car about 6 years ago. NOT adjustable valves. $300/set
    • 4 light set of headlight buckets with lights. Whole set requires refurbishment but structurally OK. $150
    • 2 DS headlight glasses. Not sure which brand they are. $100 each
    • 2 sets of brake ducts. $25/set. No undertray (SOLD 1 set Nigel, 1 set Robo) ALL SOLD
    • D Special size interior air blowers and motors. $40
    • D Special size heater coil - may require repair. Will not fit Pallas cars as it's smaller than Pallas. $30 (SOLD dee see in WA)
    • Newsflash - a Pallas size heater core has been uncovered. $30
    • Various welded spheres - accumulators etc. Suspension spheres may suit BX or CX. $10 ea (2 accum poss matched rear pair for CX/BX Nigel)
    • 2 pairs of s/s outer windscreen surrounds side pieces - upper and lower. $30 each pair
    • Various LHM pressure regulators - make an offer (1 DS for Nigel $20)
    • CX Headlight glasses - a mismatched pair. Free
    • 1 D rear bumper plus one lower bar. Mounting brackets are rooted - only there to hold everything together. $100
    • Assorted unused V belts - ask and we'll haggle
    • 2 x DS starter - would be 4 sp gearbox spec.Un refurbished $60 each
    • A variety of other odds and sods I haven't discovered yet - ask questions - you never know what I might have!

More will be revealed this weekend (Aus Day w/e)

Either PM me or phone during reasonable hours on 0418 484 798

I've just updated the list a bit and will update more tonight. Those waiting on freight costs - tonight will be it.

Yesterday was a bit of a write off as I had to have emergency root canal treatment. All went well.

An update. PMs have been sent to those awaiting replies.

I have also updated the original list including removing some listings completely as they are sold.

I will be adding more items this weekend.

Hi all - if you've been trying to send me PMs my inbox was full. I've just cleaned it up a bit so you can resend.

Stuff going back to 2006! Kept a couple of messages for old times sake from Alan S.

OK - a big sort out in the garage today and I think I have identified the remainder of stock to move. They are viewable on this link that will take you to a Flickr album.

Some will be free, some will have prices on it. I think I should be able to put that info in the pic descriptions.

Sometimes you don't realise just how much stuff you have stored!

A complete SEDAN rear window with support frame has surfaced. Of course rear windows suit left or right side. The only diff being the side of the glass that the printing is on. Without wrestling it out of its safe storage space, I can't tell you if it's left or right.

Sorry folks - I've been slack on this one and will catch up soon. Flat out over the weekend and today I was diagnosed as having had a Bell's Palsy attack - the left side of my face is droopy. I will recover!

I'll catch up on requests and messages in the next couple of days.

Bugger. Yes, a colleague had it and I can report that she made a complete recovery. Hope yours comes good, quickly. Must have been pretty alarming.
