    Default Parting out a R12

    Hi All

Preparing to send an R12 to The Great Beyond.

Let me know what you might be after and Iíll see if itís serviceable/ worth pulling off.

Iíll be keeping a rather tidy little motor unless someone makes an offer I canít refuse.

Would you mind cutting the plugs that plug into the instrument panel off and sending them? Also any other of the plastic plugs in the loom that aren’t otherwise required and are easy to get to might come in handy. It’s not a very early car with a combination type headlight switch is it?

Where did your combination switch brake. It may be serviceable. I repaired one with a couple of bolts added to hold it back together.

What are the rubbers like, doors and boot?

Also perhaps the brake master and booster?

Hi, does the 12 have an interior mirror that is attached to the header above the windscreen? Looking for one for my 15 as I was told the original one was like an early 12. My 15 has an un-original mirror stuck to the windscreen and is about 30 cm wide making the sun visors actually cover the mirror. Best wishes for the holiday season.

I'll let you know as I go deeper into the deconstruct.

The rear lenses tail light and reversing light lenses are serviceable.

The demister vents and their knobs are intact tho I suspect they may be a little brittle.

Boot latch and catch are ok but not sure if I have the key.
