Default Full engine Gasket set plus tappet cover gaskets

I purchased a heap of stuff from Der Franzose www.cipere.fr .
What a terrible transaction screwed up in nearly every aspect by their Mr. Ansgar Biemann who doesn't answer emails or phone calls.
I sent a picture of my Moteur Number clearly indicating the engine as 807-11 & got a wrong gasket set.

    Der Franzose part number:
    81301 R12/R16/R17 Engine gasket set including head gasket. Suitable for Renault R16/R12/R17 . Engine 807-03, 807-04, 807-05, 807-10 Engine capacity 1565cc Bore 77mm

There are also 2 spare tappet cover gaskets for the engine this gasket set fits.
    81303 Valve cover gasket Suitable fo Renault R16 + R12 [1.6l] , Fuego

EU 6.68ea=$21.50 for rocker cover gaskets.
Purchaser needs to pay Australian postage cost.

Artificer, I bought an 807 gasket set for an engine I never used. Let me check it's still all there.

Thanks my moteur 807-11 is a cross flow engine.
Maybe the gasket set 81301 I was sent was for a more conventional Renault engine?

Why is your gasket kit wrong?? Take a picture of the head gasket and rocker cover gasket and sump gasket and show them. Take the diam fof the bore in the head gasket.

I have not unpacked the gasket set from Der Franzone but just gone by their description not including engine 807-11 & knowing the 2 not packaged tappet cover gaskets are definitely wrong, fitting a tappet cover about 1/3 narrower than the cover on my engine. Someone with expertise might explain the difference between 807-10 & 807-11 please?
Not being experienced with these engines currently I have not disassembled anything from my running engine. Just preparing for the day I might. Thanks for the interest & information.

OK opened the package DANA AUTO S.A. & yes the gasket set looks correct but the 2 extra tappet cover gaskets were the misleader as they are definitely wrong. The gasket set is not for sale. Someone in the know might identify what Renault engine neoprene tappet cover gaskets are meant to fit please? Approximately 430mm x 135mm. Anyone needing them pls advise.

They would be for the physically smaller non cross flow engines. aka, the 8,10,12

Difference between is the 807-10 and 807-11? One was automatic once upon a time (-11 I think if I recall)

From my experience these gasket sets (no matter what supplier) cover a number of different engines in the series, so there will be gaskets that you will not use.

The best way is to compare with the old gaskets.

    807-10 manual 15TS or 17TL.
807-11 auto 15TS or 17TL, but gasket wise the same as 807-03 out of a 16TS. 807-10/11 have extra seal on timing cover for fan pulley.

    Many thanks Alan.
This vehicle is a 1949 Citroen Light 15 Bitza. Has the 807-11 mated with a Renault 4 speed transmission. Was told the guy that modified it in the 1990's wanted an auto but it just wouldn't fit thus the 4 speed that only just fits. Has 16TS badge on the rear of the car.
