    Default Peugeot 607 2002

Hi, my 607 has a squealing sound whenever I brake, the mechanic said he has tried everything. Has anyone else had the same problem?

    Translation:
Genuine pads and rotors, rather than those from Repco or other aftermarket supplier tend to be less likely to have these issues.
There are treatments like glue or thin shims which can be applied to the back of pads which sometimes help.
Sometimes if you grind away a chamfer (angle) on the leading edge of the pads, that can help.

I've been in the trade forever, and when I say "I've tried everything" that's my code from for, "I'm sick of your problem, please try elsewhere"
