Default WTB. R17 TS front springs

We require the above. They have 7 coils. Needed for my 17TL. Koni's fitted later. Someone must have a pair from a wreck somewhere.

Can get any spring you want made.
    Just need the design

    As good as many https://www.engineersedge.com/spring_comp_calc.htm

Fit new springs and Koni's at same time.
Use correct tools as this is the most dangerous operation on 12/15/17s
Do not just undo the spring retaining mountings. The springs are almost 1 metre long
The energy in the springs is massive as you will see when you compress them

Shoji, As soon as I can get my springs out (unless someone has some 12/15/17 springs out floating around) I'll be getting some made.

All the suspension places I talk too want the spring on the bench before they will talk to me

I'll keep you in mind when I get there to check if you are still looking.

But yes hijack on Shoji's thread, anyone got any random springs floating around?

I think you need to buy a certain car for parts.....

Driven's comment about safety is on the money too....

Am I missing an opportunity here JohnW? What car? PM me the details if any
These springs are hard to come by, I know.
These springs are not as scary as some make out. I've replaced shockies already on my TL with no problems. Provided to do it right with safety in mind.
I will be making a heavy duty jig with a long thread to remove these springs. Once you have played with these it no mean feat.

Who's got a set??? They will be loved and used !!

Do we have the measurements / specs of the coil buried here somewhere?

Last time I floated the idea at work during a race meeting, the common thought it's easy and not that expensive.

someone like this; Camber Kits & More | Suspension Concepts | Product & Chassis Tuning Specialist - HOME hinted at under $800 for a set of 4 custom springs made within a fortnight,

I priced a set of Bilstien coil overs with custom top plates/mounts and was quoted about $2800 for the front coil overs and $900 for rear shocks (all 2 way adjustable). I didn't love corners enough for almost $4k in shocks and springs, so never did anything about that quote, but am looking for front coil overs once again as the project end draws nearer.
