    Default Renault 16 suspension tools

I have some R16 suspension tools available. These are essential for adjusting the height and removal/installation of the suspension/torsion bars.

SUS234 for the front suspension (left in Photo) $65 plus postage

SUS234 for the front suspension + SUS349 Guide sleeve for lining up rear torsion bar (right in Photo) $95 plus postage.

    Very rare tools.

The one with rear suspension guide is sold, pending.

That's interesting. We made our own out of an old torsion bar and a bit of guess work. Looks just like that which is a pretty good guess considering we'd never seen the genuine thing.

    Like this one?

I got this quite a few years ago and it did the job at the time. Main issue was the bend radius which made it feel vulnerable. Perhaps OK when working with a hoist but for the garage DIY, using gravity via the weight of the vehicle and a multitude of jacks to rotate the torsion into place it was a bit hairy. The factory ones are significantly stronger. Took me years to find the original SUS234 and then all my leads came together at once and I ended up with 3!
