    Default 203 403 404 and 504 parts

I have a huge stock of s/h parts and some obscure NOS parts for all of these models why not ask me about your specific needs for these models that parts are getting harder to find both here and overseas.

    Hi Ian,

do you have a full set of seats for a 504? Must be the tombstone type with hole in the upper headrest part, and in cloth. I know it's specific and a bit of a long shot, but worth asking.

    thanks,
    Brett

Hi Ian: I just had a random thought (of course any sort of thought at my age is welcome!)

I am about to outlay a fortune in retrimming my 203 interior which made me think........... "What exactly does Ian have in the 203 seat

department and what condition are they in??" Nothing that's only been sat on on once by Charles De Gaulle ? Ho Chi Min? Grace kelly?

Harvey Weinstein ? Local beef Cockey?

No chance of anything in leather regardless of age?

Just wondering (as you do.) Cheers mate.

There were quite a few Peugeots, Renaults and Citroens in Saigon under the French inthe 50's and 60's

    Hello ianrobbo,
I have a 1966 404, with drum brakes. I'm trying to get a couple of things to get it ready for rego. I had the brake cylinders renewed with new rubbers, but my friend damaged 2 rubbers while installing them. I was able to get one only from Better Brakes, Gold Coast, so I need 2 more,(one is in case one gets damaged) He also broke 2 springs trying to stretch them onto the brake shoes. These are the springs that are 115 mm in length. I also need 2 wheel nuts (with collar? attached). Also the plastic? cover for windscreen wiper motor. Hope to hear from you soon. Chris.

Looks like Ho Chi Minh's 404 would have had good seats.

Hi ian Robbo, hoping to make progress on my 404 ute project soon which starts with replacing the cross member under the radiator. So, if you have anything that will help with that and also engine and gearbox mounts please let me know. If there's other stuff that you reckon I'm likely to need include them while the chance exists.
    Thanks, Cheers.

Very little NOS brake and clutch hydralics for these earlier cars now but still some gems.

Hi Kelpiebat. When I re did a 404 some years back the perfect replacement for that cross member was a length of 50mm square fence post. Cut the bottom off the crossmember [ if it still exists] and make the necessary cuts elsewhere and it fits in beautifully. Bolt it through the chassis rails just like the main crossmember. Acts as a superstrong jacking point or mount for a sumpguard.
