You'll need to machine out the sun gear to fit the sedan driveshafts.

What are you trying to achieve? LSD?

Do you by any chance have a 505 SLI (xn6) cylinder head in good condition?

No, just a more torquey ratio. Bit more oomph off the line.

    Hi Ian

    Where to start!

Sad to see them disappearing, I haven't seen one on the road in my area for well over a year now. Some people are starting to look at mine like it's a disease!

Interested in the following for a series 2 wagon ('88) GTi wagon :

-Catalytic converter, not sure if the S2 GTi sedan is the same.

    -Throttle cable

    -Distributor (mine is the Bosch)

    -Fuel regulator.

-Hose and fitting connecting air intake duct to rocker cover breather.

-Tie rod ends if they are nice and tight.

-Door restrainer for left rear door hinge for wagon (not sure, but I think right maybe be the usable).

-I don't suppose you have NOS clutch slave cylinder?

I could go on and on. The boots on my front brake calipers have disintegrated, would like to replace.

Ian, Re the enquiry regarding front rotors for the ,84 STi sedan. I don't know the current thickness so will crawl under tomorrow with the calipers and find out. I do know the current ones are stuffed (warped) and won't stand another machining on the advice of the bloke who did them last. Under brakes 'Cecil' shakes like a virgin on her wedding night! It would be nice to having him acting with more matronly indifference and maturity.

Any hope of a good front lip or two for a 505 wagon? (Are the sedans different?)
Also rear door cards in grey for the same?

Hi Ian, Thickness of the rotors for the '84 Sti is 15mm.I will need a good pair to replace them.
I forgot to enquire about two other items:

#1 : The plastic panel between the two rear light clusters that the number plate screws two. A 'ribbed' grey,GTi one would be fantastic but anything in sound, unbroken condition would be okay.

#2: A rear "Aunger" style louvre for the back window. Mine disappeared whilst being towed in disgrace.

Hope you can help. Cheers. Deane.

Hi again Ian: Sorry to stuff you about but have just located pair of rotors locally so will go with them. However, I still need the rear panel and the louvres if you have them.

    Apologies. Deane.
