    Default 306 manual swap parts

    Hi all,

I'm converting a 306 cab from auto to manual and will need a few parts

    I have the gti6 6 speed, flywheel & clutch.

I will need everything from the gear stick and mount, linkage rods, y connector and bolt that mounts to the sub frame, complete pedal box and clutch cable.

Now I also need a sub frame and a pair of drive shafts.

If you can help and can send the parts to Queensland send me a PM.

    Thanks,
    Mark.

You will need a bit more than that I suspect Mark, I believe the subframe needs changing as well, its no small task. Demannu is the one to advise but he is on holidays for a few weeks yet.

Oh Thanks Matthew. The only reason I can see for requiring a subframe is for the bracket that holds the gear linkage rod "Y" piece - but that bracket is all ready there in this car....

I picked up the old Auto this morning and I will also need some drive shafts. The The differential is a male spline to the drivers side whereas the manual is female.

Fair enough, you may be on the money. One way to find out isn' t there? Graham Wallis has some 306 shafts, I got a set recently.

Mate your right - I need a sub frame too. There is no provision on the auto sub frame for the manual gear link - Y bracket.

no joy in being so, you have to chase around, fortunately the 306 is wrecked often enough and any manual car would do, good luck, call Graham, pm him for shafts, give away to good home, decent bloke too.

Might be a bit far to post the bulky items but thanks for the offer.
