Default Citroen C2 VTR to good to wreck

We just got this little Citroen C2. It has floppy paddle gears and goes great. 1.6 litre and no weight means great performance. Probably to good to wreck so we'll see if anyone wants to save it.

Those people that say I know - generally don't.

Nothing seriously wrong with this. No VIV required.

He wants manual. Even though this one is a manual gearbox it's electric change so it's classed as auto.

Yes that's why I don't post there. I think it's silly how people can't reply.

That's because there were too many cases of people asking, say, $50K for their dodgy and reconstituted R12, GS or 504 and then being offended when people begged to differ on the claimed value and condition. Unlike you, they had no plan B to part them out.

The C2 is a fun car, but Sensodrive is not to everyone's liking. It's often called an 'automatic' to get people over the sales line and maybe it is fair to call it that if your licence only allows you to drive an automatic. However, it feels more like a manual driven well than a conventional auto. It's not an unreasonable choice for a C2 manual buyer as it can be driven like one, just without using the clutch. The regular manual version is less common and it came later in the run here. You will often find earlier cars had proper climate control rather than the more basic heater/AC system. As long as they are serviced and correctly adjusted (i.e. check clutch actuator as a service job), Sensodrive is normally reliable, but the clutch and a couple of gearbox bearings will still eventually wear out just like they do in a regular MA manual gearbox, although maybe at a higher mileage. The C2 will also be a lot safer than most other bargain basement hatches on offer.

Anyone asking that much for there dodgy old cars isn't really trying to sell them are they. Before advetising anything for sale a serious seller will check out the market and price there's on market value otherwise they dont sell.

Unless there just trying to push the prices up. I've always said classic French cars are to cheap.

But it would be handy to ask sellers questions like they ask me. colour, Kms all that stuff and if people starts with the tell him his dreamin line the moderators should delete them.. Just my thoughts anyway.

Your right about these gearboxes, some say it's the way of the future, I'm not so sure but if people want them then that's fine too.
