Better get up to Jollys Upullit in Ringwood before the one there goes.

I had the front screen replaced before I sold mine & it was impossible to get the old bonded one out without cracking it. As Graham mentioned, the other glass is still on the one in Ringwood 'tho.

Yeah - I cracked my front windscreen removing it so I'm hesitant to try pull one at Jollys. I might get up there to grab the other glass however. Cheers guys

Ha, nice one. 306 glass is 306 glass.

Had my windscreen replaced a few months back by another reputable operator, just remember to get the one with the rain sensor!

I ummed and ahhed, but the extra hundred bucks is so worth it. When you're flying around corners and shifting, this is one less thing to worry about.

Yeah not worried about the rain sensor (my eyes will act as this) as it's a Racecar. Ack your comment Ref getting someone to install it - saves the mucking around. Which "reputable" company put yours in and any issues?

"Reputable Company" number was written on paper, so now gone. I just picked one that had a bricks & mortar address.

Biggest issue was trying to get the rear-view mirror back on
I pulled off the wiper surrounds etc as I wanted to get all of the old dash foam and crud out while the screen was out.

Another forum post mentioned wipers not working without the sensor, but hey, it's a Racecar.

No problems! Yeah getting the rear view back on can be a pain (lucky mine hangs down from the front roll hoop!)! I'll control the wipers from my PDM so happy days (other than the fact my rollcage comes through the front strut where the wiper motor used to be.... )

I used National Windscreens-$425 for a tinted laminated rain sensor screen. Other than the fitter looked like he was a cast member of the Rocky Horror Show, his work was OK.
