Default Wanted urgently: Electric radio aerial for a 306 cabriolet

As above really, out of the kindness of my heart I stupidly lent my sister the cabriolet while her car was being sorted out. Now I get the car back with a Brocken fog light which is easy enough to fix and a broken aerial. Has anybody in the country got one they don't need? The car is currently advertised for sale and is on eBay so I need one yesterday! Any clues please text, call, email, private message, reply to the thread, send a message on a dove I'll even except a message in a bottle. :-)

I've got a spare electric aerial of the aftermarket sort, came off a 605. Big chunky Aerpro style body, two bullet connectors intact but replacement ground eye. Like this: Ryda Car Audio - Aerpro AP178 Universal Automatic Antenna($112.40)

Cleaned inside and out, regreased and tested.

I'd prefer something genuine. However how much where you after?

Thousands, if your sister is paying. Nah, I sacrificed over three hours of crap free-to-air evening TV to overhaul this, would take $50 posted. It's the type with a replaceable mast.

Have you checked to see if there's a replacement mast sold for your 306? Never know your luck.

I bought a genuine 605 antenna, ever priced one? They discontinued the repair kit...

Well I have to say I'm surprised and impressed by Peugeot on this occasion. A complete aerial was about 440 dollars but is no longer available. But they still have the rod and cable available for about 120 dollars. I might go down that path once I go home and find the damage.

I'd go that route if possible.

My thoughts exactly. I just want to see it first to make sure it's not salvageable. I couldn't believe it when he told me they exsisted after service box didn't even show a part number.

Did he suck his breath in between his teeth, and say "You won't find one of those anywhere, now"?

I tried both of these, the people with the yellow one want 200 bucks (probably the reason they still have one). The people with the red one just gave me a very blunt no.
