Default F/S: Wade 240 Cam and Adjustable Timing Sprocket - XN1

I'm getting rid of the 505 the weekend and am really loathe to throw any of the good stuff away. So I'm going to take the cam and adjustable timing sprocket out of it, as well as the Weber Falcon Carb (ADM I think?).

If anyone wants any of these, let me know and they're free to a good home.

I've also the electronic ignition system from an SLi too which is a good, cheap upgrade from the standard, without the expense of a 123ignition setup if anyone's interested.

Or anything else anyone needs, just holla, and I'll see what I can do.

Gearbox is pretty good also (BA7/5), if anyone local wants it. Not going to mail that off...

    Okay y'all,

The following parts are spoken for:
    - Cam and sprocket
    - Carby
    - Electronic Ignition
    - Gearbox

I stripped the car today and it's on a trailer tomorrow going to the tip. If anyone needs anything, let me know and I'll save it.

    Matt,

If it had a 'big bore exhaust manifold' I am very interested.
It might be a bugger to remove though.

I am happy to give you a fair price for it.

I don't wish to hold up the tidy up process though.

I'd also like the throttle bracket for the ADM if your were not sending it with the carbie.

PM if that is not a problem please and I can make arrangements.

    Thanks

    Ted

    Hi Ted,

Unfortunately it doesn't have a Big Bore on it - not through lack of looking though.

As for the throttle cable bracket, I'll be sending that up with the carby as fitting it is a bit of a workaround without it. Probably wouldn't take much effort to make one up. I can post a picture if that would help, so you know what it looks like.

    Regards

    Matt

I have a throttle cable bracket you can have.
A photo to make sure it is the right one you are after would be good.
I am assuming you are after a late model one. Bob

Here's a photo of the bracket before I removed it. I can take one from another angle if needed.

    Matt,
    Sincere thanks for the photo.
I'll look at that Solex (that is causing me grief) and compare it to the photo.
    I really appreciate your help.

Looks like you made a lot of folks happy.

    Thanks again.

My pleasure. A trick I learnt is to not bother trying to make the Peugeot throttle cable fit. I went and bought one for a Falcon to match the carb, then all I had to do was adapt the firewall penetration. Much simpler solution.

Hi guys. Just to let you know I haven't forgotten. Work's been a tad flat out and I haven't had chance to package and send the stuff out.

Should be on its way in a couple of weeks. I'll let you know when it's done.
