Yeah it is rough on poor little Joey but suburban blocks say we can't have 4 dogs.

I would rather have that poo joe break I see. Probably cheaper to own than a horse.
The only way to register that car here? As a 1969 504 and good luck finding one of those, even assuming you could get the poo joe past the import bond.
    Good luck with the sale.

Poor Joey, if no one puts their hand up for him please don't take him to the pound. By law surrendered dogs can be euthanised almost the next day, they can fail re-homing assessment for very minor things. You are welcome to PM me if you need help with finding a rescue group if you cannot find him a good home.

Don't worry about the dog! He's not going anywhere! He has his Mum his Dad and his big sister here. They're all one big happy family. And part of our family too.

    G'day,
probably a bit far for me. Took my son's Lab to the vet today. He has the typical hip displacia, along with a very bad back. There was another Lab, arrived in the back of a BMW wagon. Same problem. Didn't come out of the vet's. Very sad. Apparently her legs gave out the previous night.
    The things we do...

I was thinking of the fires too. All OK?

I presume you've decided to get 20% of your life back by reducing commuting time?

Best of luck Dave. Moving is awful, but the pain fades over a few years.

I'd like the collie but we are in Perth and I'm away a lot so not fair to the dog. Horses have the "no brakes, no steering" problem for me at least. Overloaded with cars alas.

The scarey thought, if you send poor Trigger to the petfood factory it might come back in a tin of Pal.

It's nice to know that everyone is concerned about little Joey but he's safe. Why is no one concerned about the horses?

Thing is Joey is a pure bred Border Collie, he was born in the laundry, both his parents and his older sister live here, both are excellent breeding and his mother comes from state champions. His parents are not related so his blood line is pure. The problem is we don't actually own him and the person who does has no where to put him and because he has lived his with his family all his life it hardly seems fare to split them up. If his owner still can't take him when it comes time to sell I will take him with me and if we get into trouble for having 4 dogs then I'll just have to wear it.

The 406 wagon is an STDT and is hit on the right hand side. Still drives well and the Laguna is a 95 model RXE 2litre manual. Fully optioned with leather climate control all that stuff, Everything works but the engine has developed a miss like a burnt valve and it still drives fine.

As for the fires, no where near us but lots of friends were evacuated and I haven't caught up with them all yet. But we've just had another alert go off just now only a few kms from home.

We just heard that the president of the Kyneton car club has lost his home, don't know what tressures he had in his garage.

If you like it Shane buy it. It already comes with a back yard full of wrecks so you don't need to ad any.

Suburbia, not exactly but I have been looking in Riddells Creek and Gisborne. Might get a bargain now.

I never intend to shift again .... So much work ..... I still love the look of that house though how are you going to do it with nothing to tow a car trailer

bunk 'van ?? The caravan in one of your pictures has bunks, you can tell by the layout of the windows Something like that caravan tidied up would look great behind an old DS

That's not actually a caravan. It's Chris's portable Peugeot parts storage shed. Not that we are saying Peugeot's are so unreliable you need to tow a shed full of parts everywhere.

But, now you've reminded me that is also something that will need to go.

Details on the 306? I'd like a hack to give to my sister so I can have my 205 back.
