    Default 405 S2 Mi16 and Sri wrecking.

I have lost interest in the Mi16 and it is getting in the way, all parts except pods and gear shift mechanism now available.
XU10J4 in sound condition, Good tyres and rims 15 inch Kumho. Near new clutch, LIP gas in good condition, feels nice and tight on the road.
Also an SRi which I bought yesterday for the odd part for my SRi, auto in good condition, engine bad sounds like gasket gone between cylinders, door hardware bad but most other stuff OK.
Make an offer for the part you want, would like to see this all gone in the next week or two.
I will be commencing to pull these apart today, you can contact me at the site on 0429 939619

    Hi Graham,

Like I said before, if you have the clamshell horns for the Mi16 (or even for the SRi) I would buy either or both pairs on condition they sound as they should.

No idea what clamshell horns are but I pulled the air horns of the Mi16 today, I'll try them out then see what's on the SRi tomorrow.

If so then we aren't in luck, the horns on the Mi16 are trumpet shaped.

The one Addo linked is still an air horn.

The SRi has a pair of good Peugeot brand headlight protectors, $20.
I'll let the Mi16 wheels and tyres go for $40 each, many kms left in these.

If the A/C system still has gas in it I might be interested in the compressor.

The SRi air conditioning still works, about the only thing good about the car, this is the most trashed POS I have ever seen, lucky it didn't cost much!
I can compare the Mi16 and Sri to confirm it would fit if you like.

How is the radiator on the Mi16? What kind of money would you want for it? Mine is sitting at about 110 degrees...

Certainly works fine but I will check it out tomorrow.
Would want $50 if it is good I guess.
You want the Series 2 radiator with bayonet fitting?

Engine and box sold from Mi16, still plenty of parts left.
Air con compressor in SRi is good, air con works, looks to be the same as the Mi16.
    I have S1 and S2 radiators.
The Mi16 interior is excellent, the black with red flecks trim, these velour series 2 seats are the best Peugeot ever put in a car, $200.

I'm interested in the globe holders for the tail lights off the Mi16.

Not yet, been busy saving 205 parts from Sims, taking advantage of the current feast of 205s at Pick a Part.
Need to get the 405 out from where it is parked to take the wheel off, then pull out the plastic lining, should be able to do this on Monday.

    Maybe already gone?

FYI, the horn on my S1 Mi is behind the driver's side wheel arch liner, under the headlight. Accessing the liner is easier if you take the wheel off, but, you can get to it by jacking the car up & turning the wheel hard left or right - to suit your dexterity.

I know because I'm in the process of trying to replace my non-operational airs which is a worry considering, as we're all aware of, the appalling behaviour of Aussie road users.

That's what I thought, where it was on the Mi16, but nothing there on the SRi.
