Default Red S1 mi16 for parts

I have recently bought a red s1 89 model mi16 with the purpose of fixing and probably keeping. Unfortunately I've decided to strip instead as I already have an mi16 project car!

It has a brocken timing belt. The paint on the bonnet, roof, spoiler and left front door is stuffed! It has a sunroof and very nice condition leather seats. All electrics seem to work and the previous owner said the Ac even works. So if anyone is after anything body wise or even mechanically, let me know.

I'll be keeping the suspension because one of the reasons I bought it is because it's been professionaly lowered and stiffened front and back!

Apparently this car was owned by another enthusiast (whom I won't name) who fitted it with a rear mount turbo. (just thought I throw that in there if anyone has some more info on the history of the car)

She has the 14 inch mi16 alloys with nearly new rear tyres and RWC fronts.

    Hi Chris
I sent you a text regarding the grey Mi16 stuff we've been talking about, and any luck finding any rear adjustable shockers?

How much for the following bits.... I'll come and collect:

    Front Bumper;

Driver's seat; possibly cheaper than repairing repairing the leather.

driver's side headlight; - mainly the glass...

sunroof sliding board thingy that closes out the sun; ... highly technical terms I know

All I can think of so far....... Rear bumper maybe... worth asking for a price I suppose...

Yes it did, the engine was stock and i was running low boost only 7psi. Using an oil cooled garrett t25 but it was effective. I recognised it by not having any badges on the back and the small amount of bog where the exhaust exit is. Paint has faded a bit since i had it.

you chisel off the bottom rivets ,they are soft, then you have to either cut off or pull out the retainer at either top end under the mouldings then you push it forward and it comes off the middle clips.....what could go wrong regards fish. might go backwards but think forwards...mm

rivets are on underside of skirt facing up, all you see are the flats lay under side skirt and look, about ten of them, they retain the skirt in position, i chisel them off /could drill them but I'm a born wrecker at heart, the clips on each end under arch cover next, drill them/pop them, then the middle inside clips you slide the skirt off i think forard.

Dont worry Peter. When he says we had an order today, he means French Connection had an order not his personal collection at home.
I'm sure he will pull yours off over the weekend. (Now that he's practised at it)

An update of whats been spocken for,

    The bumpers,
    Maybe drivers seat,
    Rh head light,
    Air horns,
    steering wheel,
    The suspension (by me)

Anything else is still up for grabs.

It has all the other usual bits that brake Ie: fuel flap, window regs, heater fan, door mirrors.
