Default 4 Pugs take the track this Sunday 30th Oct

The forth round of the MRA series is being conducted the weekend. With 4 Peugeots taking the track who will come up trumps. Will it be my 205, possibly the last race with the 8v, the car has upgraded front springs, poly glass and lightweight rear hatch.

Or will Barry Black (master of the wet) in his 306Gti keep me behind him, or will Carly in the 206 GTi180 just pull away from us both.

Either way we have a 50 car field entered for Super TT, the biggest field ever, they will split us up into 2 divisions, so you might see a pug in the top10 or even a top 5 in Division 2.

John Gill is also running his 206gti180 street registered car in the regularity class.

The full program can be found here http://issuu.com/wakefieldpark/docs/mra_round_4_2011_programme/18"]http://issuu.com/wakefieldpark/docs/mra_round_4_2011_programme/18"]http://issuu.com/wakefieldpark/docs/mra_round_4_2011_programme/18

All are welcome to come and hang around with me in the pits, I could always use some help, even if it is a chat in etween races.

Well, i know now why i love motorsport so much.

Had a great day at the track, started off average with a poor qualifying session that had me starting in 21st behind both the 306 and the 206.

race 1 saw me pass the 206 and hassle the 306 but not able to pass, finish 16th. race 3 i was flying and was able to pass both the 306 and other cars to finish 12th. Finally race 3 saw me get a top 10, it was a blast passing so many car with much more HP than me. The little pug with 73kw was terrifying many cars out there.

The changes i made to the front suspension game me more than a second off my previous PB. Ending the day with a 1.12.1 and i think i could of hit a 11.

The camera only worked on uthe first race and i will post it shortly. I was amazed how the pug kept up with the gti180 and the gti6 down the straight.
