Default PIARC Sprint, July 9th and 10th.

    Calling all Froggers...

Wondering if anyone else was interested in putting together a tuning / training session at Phillip Island Sprint on Saturday 9th July? This day is track familiarisation and has opportunity to cart a passenger in the car with you (under certain conditions).

Personally, I would love to get another front end drive racer in the car with me to point out my errors, try and improve my lap times.

Maybe if there is enough interest, we could find someone with a proven track record in front wheel drive cars to give those of us new to this mode of transport some pointers?

    Suggestions or thoughts?

My drive is a white Mi16, still a work in progress - but I am certain the car is still capable of more than I can get out of it.

Ben, keep an eye out for an Alfa Club (AROCA) sprint event at either The Island or Sandown & tell 'em that it's your first time at that track. That way you'll be entitled to a session with an instructor in the passenger seat who'll show you the lines & point out any issues with your driving.

Good Idea, I will apply for the 2/7 event and see how it pans out.

Why don't you bring the car to DECA this Sunday?
We'd love to see you there and planty of people with FWD experience to compare notes with.
If the car isn't ready we can still use some more help.
    See PCCV at DECA thread.

Would have loved to come to DECCA, but expect to have to work both days this weekend. The car is right to go, but might be too loud for this event as it is. However, if I can convince someone else to supervise for me on Sunday, I may still drive up and have a look see, lend a hand etc. Appreciate the invitation, but don't count on me making it.

    Cheers.
