Ok so let me get this right....
SWRT has Petter S driver all 16 round, with chris driving 12 round and the remaining 4 asphalt rallies will go to Sarrazin. And in that 4 round Atkinson will be driving for SRTA. Correct me if I'm wrong.
So what's the deal? Does Atkinson go back to the 06 car when he's not driving for SRTA

He's driving on '05 car at the asphalt rounds for SRTA partly so he can use active diffs (as a non-factory driver) and an '06 for gravel.

This is getting interesting, does this mean that the Xsaras and 307s will be running last years spec against the 06 factory Subarus and Fords?

Quite probably, only the factory cars have to run the new diffs

Hey, this could make things very interesting if the '05 cars are faster than the '06 cars. Unless of course Loeb still manages to clean sweep the championship again seeing as he's in last year's car.

And here I was thinking Solberg is going to win all the races because he will have the best car...

It certainly sounds like we will be in for an interesting season. I don't imagine that the factory entrants would be very impressed if the older cars beat them...

Petter He seems to be a more out going & fun person then Loeb, at least on TV when he interact with his fans.
