    Default Brazillian GP *Spoiler*

Alonso on pole for Brazil, Montoya 2nd and Fisi 3rd

Wrekkonen locked up at the Senna S and could only manage 5th.

Alonso only needs to finish 3rd to win the title, but this could help Renault maintain it's lead in the constructors championship as well...

Pity the friggin race starts at 3.00 am EST...

Still, be worth it to see Renault win the championship

I'm hoping it's a matter of Flavio unleashing Alonso for the last two races. I realize that the Mclarens are a little faster but I think this weekend's qualifing was proof enough that Alonso has been playing it a bit safe for the last few races.

Also true but Renault F1 got some new parts for Brazil and coming 2 races.
Those parts helped Renault to catch up McLaren in Interlagos.

Renault definitetly closed the gap, however, they are still at least half a second behind. I wouldn't go by quali results to judge the raw speed of each car as it's got nothing to do with fastest over a lap anymore (fuel loads).

Pizzonia qualified a fraction behind Mark, but both taken out before the first corner.

A great result for Schumacher to beat Fisi's Renault, it was clear that Fisi was faster. He pulled a daring move on the first lap.

But we need more than just Alonso, McLaren have their reliability sorted, so they'll have 2 cars scoring in the high points, thats what Renault needs... not just Alonso wins!

Surely it was just proof that the Alonso had less fuel!?!?

Yes, top race again; or maybe that my rose coloured look again?
I loved the move MS did on Fisi and JPM raw pace is awesome I love his agression, too many p*ssies since Ayrton... lol.
The driver of the year is Alonso in my book, you can have the best engineers, best engines, best tyres, best launch control but if you don't have the head on the driver that can compete & win.....
And you think Alonso had a times received preassure too this year so it hasn't been that easy, both on and off the track....

Well Done Alonso, well done Renault!!!

ps, did anycatch the comentary on what alonso did when he was 16???... now what was he driving ??
    ... ptui!
