    Default DECA on 13th Nov

The DECA Circuit sprint and motorkhana (on the huge skid pan) will be held in Shepparton on Sunday the 13th of November.
There will be a driver familiarisation session on both the track and the skidpan where expert compettiors will be on hand to offer advice.
The competition will take place on both the track and the skidpan.
If you like you can take part in the skidpan competition only at half price, $45 compared with $90.
The event will be open to all French production vehicles from any CAMS affiliated car club.
You will need a CAMS 2S licence if you want to do the complete event or a 2NS if you just want to do the skidpan.
These are easily available via the club.
The car will need a mounted fire extiguisher and the bonnet needs to be tied down if it is a pre-1973 model. Helmets will be required to be worn for the timed laps.
As usual we will have dinner at the Terminus Hotel on the Benalla Road, Shepparton the night before.
I have attached the regulations and entry forms to this posting.

I'm in. How do we go about organising the cams licence? Is it just a matter of coming along to the next pccv meeting?

Newcomers can buy a licence at the event. Have you joined PCCV yet?

Hi Justin, please send in the entry form some time soon.
As reminder, if you have previously held a CAMS licence you have to renew with CAMS beforehand, if you are a newcomer you can buy a licence on the day.

Yes, you can apply for the licence on the day if you haven't held a cams licence before.
You have to be a member of the PCCV or any other CAMS affiliated car club. I can send you an application form for the PCCV

    Entries are now rolling in.
Please print out the Entry form and post it to the address specified in the regulations.
Are there going to be any RCCV entries?
I am seriously considering changing the event to Closed to Club if we don't get any RCCV interest as it is costing us $300 extra for the MultiClub permit.

    G'day Graham,

David Cavanagh (+ Cav Junior) and I are in...

I've filled in the sup regs and will send them off tomorrow.

There quite a few RCCV members interested and I know David gave out a few supp regs to members, but you'll have to talk to him to confirm who was coming...

Graham, i see on the form that it says entries close on the day. Is this true?

I don't want to stuff you (or anyone) around, but i'm probably only a 50/50 chance of making it. If i could leave it a couple of weeks to enter it would be helpful.

Yes, but I'd like them earlier.
You may be taking a chance on the day as there is a limit of 40 cars, give me a call a few days before.
By the way we are meeting for a meal at the Terminus Hotel, Benalla Road Shepparton the night before.

That will be enough to cover the extra expenses.

No worries graham, i should probably just send a form and give myself a deadline... Worst case scenario the 405 can come i guess.

How many spots are filled atm?

Also, has anyone got any pics from last year? I'm interested to see what goes on up there.

Have fun, not sure what activities ECCA has planned for DECA, but I've always enjoyed myself when the PCCV has run its motorkhana and track events.

Just make sure you bring back your car in one piece.

    G'day Guy's,

Only 1 week to go now...

I know that David and Christoher Cananagh (R17), Rory Stark (RCS) and Ky Stark (205 Mi16) are attending (aswell as their dad in a 310 V6 Turbo)

It should be a cracking day, is anyone from AF going?
