Default F1 - FIA and Ferrari reach settlement over 2019 engine investigation - secrecy

FIA have e-mailed a press release on their investigation of the 2019 Ferrari engine. There were suspicions and runours about the Ferrari engine legality last year, mainly because of a sudden increase in performance. FIA sent the e-mail late on Friday after testing so that no on was available to answer questions and no details have been provided of the investigation. I don't think this one will be buried that easily.

More. or perhaps less on the settlement.

Interestingly, this years Ferrari engines have not been as powerful in testing as last year.

They'll be there, but whether they are on the pace or one second off the pace is the question. Ferrari have been about 1 second off pace in the pre-season practice, so it remains to be seen if they have been sandbagging or they are really in trouble.
