Default SMSP - Private Practise This Friday

Got yourself a L2S license? No? Oh well you can apply for it online via the cams website, and then you would be all ready to enter your road car, at the private practice day this Friday.

I'm only highlighting it as numbers are low and there will be a great deal of track time. Normally there may be 6, 7 different sessions, It's looking like there may be just 3 to cycle between.

Good opportunity without a lot of traffic about

Yep, we are planning to run three session tomorrow, so I mean.. this is how much track time you could end up with..

    0900-0920
    0920-0940
    0940-1000
    1000-1020
    1020-1040
    1040-1100
    1100-1120
    1120-1140
    1140-1200

    LUNCH

    1240-1300
    1300-1320
    1320-1340
    1340-1400
    1400-1420
    1420-1440
    1440-1500
    1500-1520
    1520-1540
    1540-1600
    1600-1620
    1620-1640
    1640-1700

    So lets say approx 7 sessions @ 20m = 140m, that's like.. quite a lot.

Wish I was not working and lived a 1000 Km closer, I would definitely be there.

Don't understand why tomorrow has spaces available when the following week, Friday 20th, has been fully booked for the last few weeks with no spaces available for the Renault Track day on the Amaroo circuit.

I have entered the R8G for next week.

Having run a few cars on the SMSP Amaroo circuit, my 1600cc R8G will be interesting to compare with some of the latest Renaults. Can't wait to line it up.

I can't wait either. So many Reno all in one place.

    Wooo hooooooo!

And yes it's wierd. I feel like "private practices" are still scary for the novice? Well, perhaps they are less inviting then a "track day"?

The reality is the former exists with tutors available, and is usually twice the price, whilst a private practise does require some kind of cams licence, but as they are so easy to get (fill out a web form) these days should be more popular.

Closer to a race meeting the "private practise" sells out of course.

Perhaps there is just have to much track time available?
