    Default F1 - 2017 Hungarian GP - Spolier alert

    2/ Raikkonen
    3/ Bottas
    4/ Hamilton
    5/ Verstappen
    6/ Ricciardo
    7/ Hulkenberg

    9/ Vandoorne
    10/ Sainz

Vettel and Raikkonen were within a whisker of each other with their qualifying times.

Bottas out qualified Hamilton again (just). If he keeps this up, Hamilton may stop liking him.

Red Bull are expected to be a strong contender at this circuit as HP is not as critical as some other tracks.

Massa felt physically unwell and will not be racing this weekend. Paul Di Resta will drive in his place. His first F1 race in four years.

Alonso is hoping that this circuit will suit his car better (not a HP circuit) and is hopeful of scoring points.

Race is on at 10pm live on Fox, so you're got just under an hour and a half to get to my place where there's four spare spots on the couch, though I think we'll need something strong to keep us awake as I'm not expecting an exciting race, hope I'm wrong though.

With Max on third row and Hamilton in second, they'll both have the need to get to the lead in the first corner, which could be interesting.

Yup, Max took out Daniel in the first corner

Sorry John, I must have misread your post.

Edit:- Correction - Max took Daniel out in the second corner.

Seems like he is as good as his promise. Bottas let him past earlier to attack the Ferrari's and gave the undertaking at the time.

I actually lasted to lap 20 something before I fell asleep.
I was recording it all but I wont even bother watching it and have even deleted it already.

Pfft! I was tucked up in bed like a budgie by 8:30 so didn't see it, but by the looks of it Dan is getting a few hard lessons in the finer points of the F1 'win at all costs' mentality. It takes more than sheer talent to play in that league, you need to be a prick too.

    Max in the headlines again.

But he did apologize, that makes it ok, doesn't it?

Towards the end of the race Vettel had steering problems and Raikkonen appeared faster. It looked like Raikkonen played rear gunner to Vettel as realistically he is out of point contention.

    Race results

    1/ Vettel
    2/ Raikkonen
    3/ Bottas
    4/ Hamilton
    5/ Verstappen
    6/ Alonso
    7/ Sainz
    8/ Perez
    9/ Ocon
    10/ Vandoorne

    DNF
    Hulkenberg
    Di Resta
    Grojean
    Ricciardo

Here, apparently, is an image of the most exciting part of the Hungarian GP 2017:
